Sometime in the middle days of the trip, the cloud breaks for ninety seconds.

I am at the top of a line that drops diagonally from a small col toward the fjord. A partner is below me, in the middle of the descent, crossing a rock spine that separates the upper snow from the lower. The houses below are still in shadow when he commits to the turn, and the gap in the cloud finds the line just as he does.

The print carries the brief gap in the same shape the line did.
